Ron was elected to the Township Committee in November 2007 and is currently finishing up his first 3-year term. He is now seeking re-election to a second 3-year term.

Ron is ethical, hard working and dedicated. He represents the Township government on more than a dozen committees, teams, boards and other groups -- including the finance, sewer, DPW, and parking lot sub-committees.

With his wife of 39 years, Marji, he has lived in Morris Township for 26 years. Their children, Jill and Noah, graduated from Morristown High.

Ron has served as Cub Master of Pack 228 at Woodland School, Committee Chairman of Boy Scout Troop 230 at United Methodist Church, and Field Maintenance Coordinator for Morristown United Soccer League.

A retired healthcare company Senior Business Manager, Ron has also been Sales Manager of Pharmacia Biotechnology and Vice President of Dynochrom, Inc.

A decorated veteran, who served almost two years in the off-shore and in-country combat zones of Vietnam, Ron became a drilling Naval Reservist after active duty. He holds the rank of Commander USNR.

Ron earned a B.A., English Literature from the University of Illinois and an M.A., Molecular Biology, from the University of California.
